General Duties/Requirements

  • The Social Media Coordinator is expected to be fully informed on community league matters and participate in online discussions.
  • Commit to the work of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with bylaws and policies.
  • Speak positively of the league and assist in developing and maintaining positive relations among the board, committees and communities to enhance the league’s mission.
  • Prepare for and arrive on time for all required meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate weekly content for Instagram and Facebook posts, stories and reels.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content with Canva.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels that support the EFCL Communications bylaws.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Director to create a 2025 social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
